REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
POSTION SUMMARY: The Boxer verifies the accuracy of customer orders and hand packs products for shipping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assembles boxes and packaging
• Scans customer order sheet and verifies items in bin against order
• Pulls missing items from warehouse
• Puts products in appropriate packaging and places on conveyor belt for shipping
• Maintains cleanliness of workstation to ensure compliance with safety regulations
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Basic Personal Computer skills

• Oral Comprehension – Listening to and understanding information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• Language Skills – Reading limited number of 2 & 3 syllable words to recognize similarities and differences between words & between series of numbers. Speaking simple sentences

• Problem Sensitivity – Recognizing when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
• Mathematical Skills – Adding & subtracting two digit numbers and ability to multiply & divide with 10’s and 100’s
