Quality Control
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
POSTION SUMMARY:
The Quality Control position examines products thoroughly after personalization to ensure a quality product as ordered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures correct personalization according to order specifications
- Checks monograms for any defects and repairs according to Company standards
- Cleans products with approved cleaning products to remove any dirt or stains
- Marks defective products appropriately and places in scrap bin
- Retrieves replacement products as necessary
- Places products in appropriate bins for order processing
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Oral Comprehension – Listening to and understanding information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Language Skills – Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence & memos
- Reasoning Ability – Applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Time Management – Managing one’s own time
- Mathematical Skills – Adding & subtracting two digit numbers and ability to multiply & divide with 10’s and 100’s
